VIDEO | The Power of Conflict Resolution
At our July 24, 2014 Women Mean Business meeting, we discussed the value and power of conflict resolution.
As we create, grow, and lead our within our businesses, organizations, and community; successful women entrepreneurs see the real power of teams.
They also recognize the value of conflict, dealing with confrontation, and its effective resolution. It is well recognized that all teams must go through the “Form, Storm, and Norm” stages to get to the “Perform” stage seen by high-performing teams. At the same time, our discussion focused on how team members and leaders:
Our program was facilitated by Program Director, Kathy Swanson, and our panelists included:
- Embrace conflict
- With different personality styles communicate, respond, react, and deal with conflict
- Successfully escalate, negotiate, break through, and resolve conflict
- Maintain and even elevate levels of communication, productivity, and morale throughout the process
