July 2015 President's Message
As we transition to our 2015-2016 Leadership Team what better time than now to thank our Members and Partners. Because of you we can celebrate NAWBO’s New Beginnings…
Five years ago I attended my first NAWBO Women Means Business Lunch. What I experienced - Strength, Wisdom & Camaraderie. It was the start of many new relationships, with women and men. Relationships that have flourished and led to professional & personal growth and success.
Our goal is to ensure all current and future NAWBO Members have the same experience.
We pledge to provide guidance, relevant programs & a welcoming atmosphere.
Together with our Leadership Team, Alliance & Corporate Partners and most especially our membership we are sure to achieve:
It all began in 1975, under the dedication and direction of our founding members…NAWBO San Antonio has helped women evolve their businesses by sharing resources and providing a single voice to shape economic and public policy.
- A mutually beneficial relationship with our Partners
- An enhanced experience for our members
- A known and respected perception of our organization in the community
- The ability to give more to our Entrepreneurial Connections teen scholarship program through our Foundation
- A financially strong organization, and membership that embraces the knowledge and relationships to achieve success, and it goes without saying,
- An increase of our Alliances & Corporate Partners and membership.
It is all of NAWBO’s contributions and successes that have led to San Antonio being chosen as the Host City for the National Women’s Business Conference, this September 27th – 29th at the Marriot Rivercenter.
Sincere thanks to all our Past Leaders, Partners and Members for making this a reality.
Let’s be instrumental in helping our Governor reach his goal of making Texas #1 for Women-Owned Business.
