Cindy Hill, Owner
Law Offices of Cynthia P. Hill
Cindy has been intensely involved in complex commercial real estate acquisitions/sales and contract projects with large retail companies for two decades. Two of those companies are publicly traded companies headquartered in San Antonio. She knows how critical the details are in commercial property transactions. How these transactions are negotiated, structured and managed makes a big impact on the company/investor’s bottom line. Cindy’s experience and know-how helps the parties in a real estate transaction maximize profit and efficiency.
I first heard about NAWBO in 2010, when I was asked to attend the Entrepreneurial Spirit Awards (ESA) ceremony as a guest. I was impressed with the ceremony and 2010 was the year that Linda Elliott was awarded the ESA Mentor award but more about Linda in a minute. As an in-house attorney at the time, being an “entrepreneur” was not in my vocabulary! Ironically, 5 years after the 2010 ESA Awards ceremony, I found myself in the position of being an entrepreneur when I started my own law practice focusing on commercial real estate. I realized very quickly that I needed help in branding myself and getting connected with the local commercial real estate community. I thought about Linda Elliott and the impression she made at that ESA Award ceremony, and I set up a lunch with her. The rest is history – Linda was and continues to be an invaluable resource and guide to me as I venture into this new world of being a female business owner. Joining the San Antonio Chapter of NAWBO was a no-brainer, and I have met many supportive and helpful women who have encouraged and advised me through my journey as a female entrepreneur. I hope I can pay it forward to other businesswomen, as did Linda Elliott. Never underestimate the power of recognizing the success and generosity of NAWBO members through the ESA Awards program!
