Acknowledging the financial constraints these women often face, which limit their access to essential subject matter experts, this program offers comprehensive support to assist them in making critical business decisions. Guided by a skilled NAWBO-SA facilitator, this interactive session will walk you through the Business Model Canvas, a powerful tool for mapping out the essential components of your business. Together, we’ll cover everything from identifying your target customers and crafting a compelling value proposition to planning revenue streams and resource management.


    Participants of the Spark UP workshop will walk away with:

    • A Complete Business Model Canvas: A clear, one-page business model that outlines each core component of their business, including target customers, value propositions, revenue streams, key resources, and more.

    • Actionable Next Steps: A roadmap for moving forward with their business idea, equipped with specific actions to further develop and implement their model.

    • Enhanced Confidence and Clarity: A stronger understanding of their business model and the confidence to make strategic decisions with purpose.

    Wells Fargo has graciously gifted NAWBO SA with $2000 to award the winner of the first ever pitch competition!  Only 5 applicants will be chosen for the opportunity to earn this money for their business.  New and established business owners are welcome to apply.  Each participant will be given a 5 minute into, 5 minute pitch and 5 minutes for Q&A from the judges.  Judges will use a weighted rubric to score the presentations and the winner will be announced during the event!  If you’re not planning to pitch, you’ll want to attend to hear these business plans and get inspiration for your own entrepreneurial journey.  And to cheer these ladies on!
